About

My Story

I have an enduring love for flowers and the serenity they bring to my garden. It was this connection that led me to embark on a new floral adventure – pressing flowers.

The colors, preserved in their delicate state, revealed a captivating beauty that left me inspired. Initially uncertain about what to do with these pressed blossoms, I couldn't deny that they held a purpose, waiting to be uncovered.

Then the idea of crafting candles graced my thoughts. Candles, with their soothing glow and fragrant allure, have always held a special place in my heart. So, I delved into the world of candle making, eager to transform my cherished flowers into something truly enchanting.

But I wanted more than just candles; I envisioned vessels as unique as the flowers themselves. Vintage glass crystal vessels, each with its own storied past, became the canvas for my creations. These type of crystal pieces were displayed around my home as a child. I remember loving the colors that would radiate from the crystal when the sun would hit just right.

Some of you might share the experience of cherishing these crystal pieces, holding onto precious memories attached to them. Now, each hand-poured candle will bring joy to its owner and can be repurposed as a candy jar, a cherished drinking glass, a key holder, or a family heirloom passed down through generations.

After months of dedicated passion and creativity, Willow Candle Company came into existence, named in honor of my sweet dog, Willow.

You might wonder, why embark on this journey? The answer is simple: Purpose.

Every candle I create feels like planting a new flower bed in my garden. Each flower, carefully chosen and placed, speaks its own language in that moment of creation. It's a profoundly peaceful experience that I wish to share with you.

So, I warmly welcome you, my friends, to join me on this fragrant and blooming journey. Let's discover the beauty, tranquility, and purpose that candles infused with the essence of nature can bring into our lives.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Alice
